If you think about it, some of your earliest memories are tied to the world of fast food. It may have been going out to eat with your parents and getting a Happy Meal or a birthday party at Burger King. Or, like me, maybe your first job as a teenager in the early 1990’s was frying hamburgers in the kitchen at your local McDonald’s. I worked for two and a half years doing everything from taking orders at the drive-thru to unloading a truck’s worth of frozen quarterpounders. While it was not something I wanted to do for a career, I didn’t mind working there. I made enough money to buy a car (my reason for the job) and I think I learned a little about having a job in general. But it did leave me with a facination about the history of fast food and it’s place in history. So, here with the help of the this blog, I am going to share with you some of the things I remember when it comes to fast food industry – the promotions, the commercials and all of the other fast food things I come up with. Feel free to chime in with your own stories.
